Summer 2017 Extras: Subbing, Buti, etc.

It’s already that time of year again! As many of you know, I am a high school teacher as my full time job. While that keeps me incredibly busy during most of the year, it allows me flexibility in the summer to pick up more yoga teaching opportunities. I’m managing to feel pretty balanced in my life these days (!) so things are picking up a little earlier than usual this year. As of now, here is what I have lined up:

Yoga for Feet (Members Only Workshop) — Sunday, May 7th  12:30-2:00 @ Vision Yoga & Wellness

Buti Yoga Class Series — 6:45-7:45 PM @ Akron Yoga & Wellness on the following Thursdays: 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, & 7/13

Buti Glow Party — Friday, August 4th 6-7:30 PM @ Akron Yoga & Wellness

Subbing —

Thursday, May 18 6:30-7:30 PM Open Level Flow @ Vision Underground

Thursday, May 18 7:45-9:00 PM Gentle Restore @ Vision Underground

Tuesday, May 23 6:00-7:00 PM Powerful Flow/Killer Core @ Vision Underground

Tuesday, May 30 6:00-7:00 PM Powerful Flow/Killer Core @ Vision Underground

Tuesday, June 6 6:00-7:00 PM Powerful Flow/Killer Core @ Vision Underground

Tuesday, June 20 6:00-7:00 PM Powerful Flow/Killer Core @ Vision Underground

As always, stay tuned for updates!

  • Thursday, May 26th 4:30-5:30 PM GENTLE YOGA @ Vision Underground
  • Saturday, May 28th 8:30-9:30 AM BEGINNER’S YOGA @ Vision Yoga & Wellness
  • Sunday, May 29th 6:45-8:00 PM DEEP STRETCH @ Vision Yoga & Wellness

Free Yoga Class in February!

I’m the February Teacher of the Month at Oasis Yoga Spa in Solon! Basically what that means is if you’ve never taken one of my classes at Oasis, you can drop in for FREE now through February 28th. Please click on my Winter Schedule tab to see when I teach.

So far I’ve enjoyed seeing several new faces in each class… it’s humbling to meet and serve new people! In anticipation of Deborah Adele‘s upcoming visit and workshop, I’m theming most of my classes this month on a single yama or niyama. It’s a great way to learn a little bit about two of the other eight limbs of yoga.

Upcoming Subbing

I have a few substitute teachings scheduled in the near future, and figured I should post them since people are always telling me they wish they could make it to my 4:30/4:45 PM weekday classes but can’t.

I’ll be teaching All Levels Flow at Oasis tomorrow (Saturday, January 31st) at 1:00 PM for Mary.

I’ll also be teaching Restorative (a slow-flow and restorative yoga blend) at The Source in Lakewood for Brittany on Monday, February 9th at 8:15 PM.

Hope to see you at either or both!
